Start Your Morning Right with an Easy Ayurvedic Energy Shake

According to Ayurveda, dates provide energy and almonds are good for the nervous system. Soaking both and removing the skins of almonds aids in digestion. This simple 5 ingredient shake is fast, easy and a great energy boost in the morning.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond milk (warm or room temperature)

  • 1 tsp. ghee

  • 2 pinches cinnamon

  • 5 dates (that have been soaked overnight)

  • 10 almonds (that have been soaked overnight and peeled)


Servings: 2 - 3

Prep Time: 5 Minutes

Total Time: 8 hours

Preparation

  1. Soak dates and almonds (separately) in water overnight.

  2. Drain dates. Drain and peel almonds.

  3. Put all ingredients in a blender; enjoy!
